Cookies and local storage are different
Cookies are small values that a browser can send with requests to a website. Local storage keeps values within the browser for a particular site and does not automatically attach them to requests. Both can be subject to privacy and electronic-communications rules. This website uses local storage only when you choose a preference below.
What the website stores
| Name | Type and purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| vorkadscandipuzzl-consent | Local storage: records “accepted” or “essential” when you choose a setting | Until replaced, cleared by you or removed by your browser |
This preference is stored on your device and is not used by the site code as a visitor identifier. Choosing Accept does not currently load any optional script, advertising service or analytics tool. Essential Only leaves the reading experience and local composer available.
Your device / Your choice
Cookie preferences
Save or change your choice here. There is currently no optional tracking to enable; both choices keep it off.
Clearing or blocking storage
You can remove the saved preference through your browser’s settings for this site. Clearing site data removes it; private-browsing sessions may discard it automatically. If local storage is blocked, the site still works, but it cannot remember a choice. A preference applies to the browser and device where it was saved, not to every device you use.
Other local features
The Contact composer does not save draft messages in cookies or local storage. The navigation state and scroll-reveal state exist only in the current page. Copying a message uses the system clipboard, and downloading creates a file on your device; those are not website cookies. Browser caching may retain copies of page resources under your browser’s normal settings.
External resources and further information
Following a link to a manufacturer, regulator or professional body takes you to a separately controlled website with its own practices. This website does not embed those services. Read our Privacy notice for correspondence and connection information.
